Talaq bin Habib (RA) says a man came to Abu Darda (RA) and said: Your house has been burnt. Abu Darda said it has not been burnt because Allah (SW) who is Great and Almighty was not going to do that because of some Supplications which I heard from the Messenger of Allah (SW) and I have recited them today. Then He said let us go and see. So they reached his house and found all other houses around his house had burnt but nothing had touched Abu Dards’s (RA) House.
